Academic Background:
Graduated with distinction in Law from the University of Lisbon, she holds an LL.M. in Oil and Gas Law from the Agostinho Neto University, in partnership with and sponsored by British Petroleum. She also obtained an LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law from the Queen Mary University of London.
About the Founder
Cláudia Pinto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience across the legal, financial, and institutional landscape, distinguished by a strong track record in senior leadership roles within both public and private sector institutions in Angola.
She began her career as a lawyer and later served as an advisor to the Constitutional Court, contributing to landmark national processes, including the drafting of the Constitution of the Republic of Angola.
In the financial sector, she held a number of senior strategic positions at Banco Privado Atlântico and Banco Millennium Atlântico, including Chief Legal Advisor, Head of the Legal Department, Secretary-General, and Chief of Staff to the Presidency. She also served as Chair of the General Meeting Board, reinforcing her role at the highest levels of corporate governance.
Her experience further extends to governance and oversight, having served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Baía de Luanda and as a member of the Supervisory Boards of both the Capital Markets Commission and Sonangol.
In the public sector, she acted as an advisor to the Minister of Finance and chaired the Remuneration Committee of the Development Bank of Angola, where she played a key role in shaping remuneration frameworks and strengthening institutional governance.
